The Colonna Palace is a located in one of the most characteristic neighbourhoods of old Rome, amid historical monuments and 16th century houses and workshops. Close by, guests will find the Parliament and Government buildings, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and some of Rome’s most famous shopping streets. From the hotel’s roof garden, you can almost reach out and touch and the Antonine column and Egyptian Obelisk, making this an ideal base from which to explore the historical treasures of Rome. The common areas of the hotel are furnished with period pieces, and large windows complimenting stunning views. Business delegates will also be fully catered for and the cocktail lounge is an ideal place to end an evening. Guest rooms within the Colonna Palace come equipped with all the modern conveniences one could expect from a hotel of its class, including a spacious en-suite bathroom. PLEASE NOTE: From June 2007 renovation work will be taking place on the specific areas hotel. This will include scaffolding on the outside of the hotel, work taking place on the rooms and the small swimming pool on the terrace A completion date has not yet been set for this work.

Excellent location for exploring all of Rome we didn't use any public transport except taxi to & from airport. Hotel clean, quiet and in safe area of Rome plus great views from the rooftop breakfast room. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment in part of the hotel but we were not inconvenienced by this in any way. The hotel staff were very helpful when our return flight home was cancelled and we needed a further two nights accommodation.
