This hotel is in a fantastic location - dead opposite Madison Square Gardens and our room overlooked the Empire State Building. Yes, the rooms need a refurb, which is undergoing at the moment, but they were clean and provided all you would need for a hectic fun filled trip to NY where you hardly spend any time in your room! Excellent value for money and location.. yes check in was slow, they have a rush on in the evening, but the staff got the job doneand were courteous. I would say many service industry people appear rude on first appearance as tourists, on the whole, trest them badly - just smile and that makes all the difference! Definitely recommend! It you want posh or are a snob, then pay those prices is what we say!
