M/wind 3.0m 2200w Grid Turbine - Miniwind

M/wind 3.0m 2200w Grid Turbine - Miniwind  £3818.74

For land based applications including domestic households, businesses and remote building use, where a connection to the "mains supply" is required, in order to export power to the National Grid.Go back to Wind main page - Hydro - Solar The MiniWind 2200W 3.0m diameter Grid-Tie turbine is designed for less exposed locations, where winds are more moderate, and where a durable turbine is required. This turbine produces a higher power output than the smaller 1.8m diameter range, for the same wind speed. Specifically designed to be connected to your "mains" electricity supply, this turbine is supplied with a very user friendly, robust power controller and 2500W WindyBoy Inverter. A purpose designed, hydraulically operated, wind turbine tower is also available, offering a very substantial mounting installation for your MiniWind turbine. The turbine can be mounted and operated using this or any other suitable tower type. Each Grid-Tie MiniWind turbine kit contains everything you require to carry out a "self install" of the turbine (except cabling), and includes the inverter and control unit (tower optional). Refer to our detailed instructions relating to making connection to your electricity supply, where you will find details of what you can and cannot self-install. This will also detail what items you will need to supply in order to complete the installation. Please note, if choosing the hydraulic tower option, you may only require the hydraulic power unit if you plan to fully DIY install your system, otherwise this will be provided by the installation team during installation (if this option is chosen) We offer a nationwide installation service (mainland UK) for those who wish to have their turbine professionally installed, or you can choose to have your system professionally "commissioned" once you have completed the installation yourself. These options give you the flexibility of full DIY, if you have skills to do so, or to have your turbine fitted by the professionals. A refundable "Site Survey" is required, whereby we will arrange for a technical expert from the Renewable Energy Industry to assess your site for suitability for wind power (or other technologies offered on our site). This will give you peace of mind, knowing that you won't spend money on technology that is unsuitable for your location (site surveys typically carried out within 28 days of purchase and are available in Mainland UK only). This survey fee will be refunded on purchase of your energy system. The MiniWind Grid-Tie system is ideally suited to remote, out-of-town locations where there is general open exposed access to the wind. We would not encourage or suggest that you should consider mounting a MiniWind turbine close to a building (of any sort), trees or where neighbours may object to its presence. If in doubt, please use our "Site Survey" offer. Planning permission from your local authority is generally required for this type of installation. Main Benefits of Wind Renewable Energy: Reduce your electricity bills (level of savings based on the average wind speed on your site, and current usage) Get paid up to £0.10/unit for unused power from your electricity supplier (you may have to change suppliers) Inflation-proof power generation on-site (the cost to produce your own power is not affected by increases in power costs from your electricity supplier) Low noise, high output blade design produces a smooth yet powerful output, even in low wind conditions. Produces over 2.2kW in 12m/s winds (1kW in 10m/s) Downwind design for simplicity and stability during operation. 2500W WindyBoy Inverter supplied for connection to the "mains" supply of your property. Unique 3-phase Permanent Magnet Generator with temperature sensor at the heart of each turbine, producing reliable and predictable performance in all operating modes. Hydraulic 9.5m tower, with Hydraulic power unit and 3000psi Ram, for ease of erection and lowering of the turbine. (see separate tower information) "Commission only" option for those with good DIY skills. "Fully Installed and Commissioned" option available if required. Commissioning + Installation Note: The Wind Turbine Installation service would typically cost between £1400 and £2500, with the "commissioned only" service being £400 typically. Please note that the charge for commissioning and installation will be paid directly to our designated installer, The Solar Energy Alliance. Go back to Wind main page - Hydro - Solar
