Jensen’s philosophy has always been on innovative design and ensuring that the customer achieves sleep comfort at its very best.Exclusive to John Lewis, the Jensen Sigma features ‘zoned’, individually pocketed ‘hourglass’ springs. The 5 zone spring system recognises that our bodies are wider at the shoulders and hips and need different types of support accordingly. The zones supporting the shoulders and hips are softer, allowing your body to sink deeper into the mattress, whilst the other areas are firmer, allowing optimum alignment for the spine. This stops your pelvis from rotating and relieves your pressure points.Each spring is heat treated and individually encased in the finest Talalay latex which has excellent ventilation properties. This mattress is medium tension.The mattress topper is fully washable at 60º to kill dust mites and bacteria that irritate allergy sufferers, and is covered in a soft, stretchy, jersey fabric allowing the spring unit to work effectively. As an added benefit, the mattress doesn’t need to be turned.The design of the bed is reminiscent of a contemporary hotel. Bases are constructed from sturdy Scandinavian pine and upholstered in a choice of colours.
