- Safari Lodge does not accept children under 12 years but the Rock Lodge does accept children.
- You will need a full 10 year passport with at least two clean pages in their passport for customs.
- Any booking made in relation to this voucher is made subject to availability on the date requested and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Virgin Holidays brochure current at the time.
- You are advised to check with your local travel clinic which vaccinations are required for your trip.
- Supplements: may apply for peak times during the year, prices have been arranged for specific departure and arrival locations.
- Mpumalanga province, including Sabi Sand Reserve, is a malaria endemic area so it is very important that you seek advice from a health professional on appropriate precautions for you – we recommend that you do this at least 21 days prior to arrival. It is still important to cover up with insect repellent. We provide an excellent one in your room but bring your own stick or roll-on repellent to take out on game drives and for when you first arrive in Mpumalanga. All rooms have mosquito nets too. We have first aid equipment at both lodges along with staff trained in administering first aid. Emergency evacuation by helicopter is available and the nearest doctor is 1 ½ hours by road.
- You will need to remember to arrange travel insurance as this is not included in the package.
- This experience is sold at 57,000 ZAR – the pound sterling rate is correct subject to exchange rates.
- International and domestic flights are not included and participants must arrange their own flights to/from Johannesburg.
- You can travel at any time of the year (subject to availability), excluding Easter, Christmas and New Year, but may be required to pay additional supplements during peak periods.
